Fair Minded Qualities
In examining the qualities, I can say I possess more than one. However, the one I chose is intellectual autonomy. I found this to be the most special of the qualities and I fulfill it by understanding to have rational control over my own beliefs, values, and inferences. I also recognize the importance of learning to think for myself and maintain authority over my own thought processes. I will also fulfill this quality by not enforcing willfulness, stubbornness, or rebellion. It’s best to only analyze and evaluate beliefs based on a necessary reason for evidence, reason, questions, belief, or conformity to agreement when rational. There are two qualities I chose to improve upon

It is necessary to learn how to let people come to understand their own faults or irrationality respectably. I chose intellectual humility on the basis of needing to improve my own conceitedness- thinking that sometimes people could not know more than me. In the same, I need to grasp that it is necessary to suffer humility for the sake of advancing or communicating a tone to others that allows opportunities of strengths and weaknesses to be expressed with a fair response to all forms of logic.
My plan to overcome obstacles of selfishness, conceit, arrogance, boastfulness, deceit, and close- mindedness will help me fulfill e characteristics of the two qualities; intellectual empathy and intellectual humility. Replacing selfishness with the ability to respect others points of view will help me to the non-egocentric characteristics of intellectual empathy.
Overcoming conceited traits by planning to step outside my own beliefs and becoming more accepting of others beliefs or insights will help me to better characteristics of intellectual humility and stop being
