I may be a boring, normal, typical teenage girl, but I have some interesting facts about myself. To begin, I have an obsession with gifs. I use them all of the time now. I don’t even text people anymore, I just send Gifs. It actually really fun. A “gif” stands for Graphics Interchange Format, Gifs are images compressed to reduce transfer time. I’m pretty sure it annoys everyone but, I don’t really care because I love them. Another interesting fact about myself is that i’ve had several pets. I’ve had four dogs, three cats, and four fish. My first animal was an immense Alaskan Malamute by the name of Tanika. She was a very lovable dog and I enjoyed riding her around the house and my favorite thing was when she pulled me on a sled. Tanika had
The Stories Behind Lotte Reiniger’s The Adventures of Prince Achmed The word “animation” defines as the technique of photographic successive drawings to create an illusion of movement, bringing a sense of life and vigor. Animation is usually associated with a sequence of drawings, bringing fluidity and character to a sketch. The same is said to miniature models, by the use of stop-motion; but what about cutouts?
Do you know why people compare your actions and characteristics to animals? In the book I read a few weeks ago-called Touching Spirit Bear, there is a boy named Cole Matthews. Cole has been in trouble with the law half his life, and he is sent to an island in the middle of nowhere to learn how to get rid of with his anger. With the time he spent on the island, he did many dances and other tasks to help himself. Some of the dances were: the whale, wolf, mouse, and anger dance. In the process of doing these dances/tasks, he learns many things about himself, nature, and what animals he is like. This has also made me think about what animals I, and my friends think I am most like. In addition to that, the three animals I am most like is a penguin, monkey, and a sheep! First, one of the animals is the Penguin because this species is known to be witty, Meticulous, and Inscrutable. Second, is the monkey because it is known to be curious, have many interests, and always have good intentions. Third and finally, the sheep because they are know to be supportive, servile, and boring. I think that my personality and actions are most like a penguin, a monkey, and a sheep.
The goal of the study was to determine personality characteristics of pets and to use the circumplex model to assess human-animal bonds. The results confirm that self-identified dog and cat people seek complementarity with their pets. However, results were insignificant between the interaction with ideal pet and the level of complementarity. It appears that the greatest predictor for human-animal attachment is the correspondence between the needs of the owner and the interpersonal characteristics of their pet (Woodward & Bauer, 2007).
The evidence of my life consist of many topics. For example, how did I feel about my master? A good example of how I felt about my master was when I was whipped, because of I found some cookies of my masters and I would hide them in a chair to take home. I was whipped for nearly ten minutes. I did not mean to do it, I was just so hungry. Ther...

For those humanoid creatures who don’t know, I am Kiarra “A. for Antisocial” Richardson. Currently, I am thirteen years old and in eighth grade. My hobbies include: reading books and comics, writing stories that will never get read, watching the telly, and generally wallowing in the craziness that is my existence on this floating space rock we call ‘Earth’. Other things that interest me include giving myself fake tattoos, telling terrible anti-jokes, acting like the five-year-old I mentally am, and hitting watermelons with cricket bats. I am the mental and physical equivalent of a hipster with a fedora collection, and I’m almost certain that I like it. I despise exercise, the sun, or any sentence containing the word “boi”. My consorts and comrades are a collection of insane people who somehow find my existence tolerable. If it was up to me, I’d stay in my darkened room doing any of my interests listed above, but the word does not work that way, unfortunately.
For much of my life, my hair and I were diametrically opposed in appearance, personality, and temperament. On my head is a thick mane of jet-black coarse curly hair. Each hair is muscular, with enough heft and hutzpah to hold a 5-pound dumbbell. I, in contrast, am a very petite girl with the arm strength of a gnat. My hair is wild. I am demure. My hair is boisterous, I, except occasionally, am composed. My hair is an extrovert, gaining energy from those around her. I am an introvert, preferring to curl up with a good book.
Animation is a visual technique that creates the illusion of motion, rather than recording motion through live action. The technique is used mainly for motion pictures. Animation can be created by illustrators, filmmakers, video makers, and computer specialists. Animation is most popular in creating cartoon movies. Advertisers also employ animation to develop commercials for television. In addition, producers of instructional films may use animation to help explain a difficult idea or one that could not be shown in live action. Animation can also be combined with live action in a movie. Many animators continue to make many drawings by hand. Since the mid-1980's, however, computer assistance combined with hand-drawn animation has become standard in many movie studios. These methods created such feature-length animated films as The Lion King (1994) and The Prince of Egypt (1998).
As a child it was obvious how much I loved animals, not just house hold pets like fish, dogs, and cat but even outdoor animals the average toddler would probably not be so fond of. When I was younger I woul...
I have a love for cats. Ever since I was a teenager I always wished for a cat of my own. When I moved in a three story apartment in California, the Manager of the complex said that cats were allowed in the units. I mentioned to my Aunt at the time that I was searching in the newspapers under advertisements for cats wanted. One cool breezy evening, my Aunt called me and said that a friend of her's named Judy had a cat named Katie who did not get along with her other two cats. So I agreed to meet with Judy to see if I'd love to adopt Katie.
Computer Graphics is the bond between humans and computers. Computer graphics is a large field that branches into almost all fields of computer science; however its roots are young. Computer graphics has massively grown over the past 40 years and is now our primary means of communication with computer applications. Do to technological limitations in the 1950s, computer graphics began as a small, specialized field. The Whirlwind project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is marked as the origin of computer graphics (Machover 14).
I took this picture in an empty field surrounded by buildings in New Rochelle, New York where my family and I used to live. During that time, I was really religious and followed the commandments. Red was my favorite color. I wore a red dragon shirt with a black pants, my signature black lipsticks, ponytail and bangs I wore daily. I thought I was too skinny at that time and was into piercings. I had three holes in one ear and four in the other. I believed I was unique with my black lipstick. I felt that I was making a lot of money compared to other teenagers my age that were making minimum wages. I was a very serious teen when it came to school, work, being a part of a team and I was always on
On a rainy day on March 30th, the year of 2000, at 11:50 in the Memorial Hospital in Modesto, California, I, Allison Oudomphanh, now sixteen years old,was born to two loving Laotian parents and a sister. My family and I currently live in Ceres, in a small home that barely fits our family, since my mother, recently, gave birth to a little one. I go to Ceres High School and enjoy learning new ideas every day; although I am not much of an early riser. Some people would describe me as being shy, which is true. However, if I am comfortable around a person or people, like my family, I am quite loud and quirky. My life is like a movie plot, there are unhappy scenes, exciting scenes, dull scenes, mainly joyful scenes, and even some plot twists along
