Boom! There goes another bomb in Afghanistan. Kabul once was a beautiful capital city but now it is ruined by bombs. There is no traces of once gorgeous flowers. It is now dirty and irreplaceable. In this once great city people were suffering and being killed for no reason due to Talbin. Perseverance is when you achieve something with great difficulty. The story The Breadwinner by Deborah Ellis is about perseverance and difficult times and situation. A young girl Parvana shows her perseverance in many ways. First of all, Parvana reveals perseverance by,agreeing to be a boy.“Alright,” Parvana said. “I'll do it.” It shows perseverance by her agreeing to cut her hair and put her dead brothers clothes on.
