Irony in Romeo and Juliet

William Shakespeare the author of the The Tragedy of Romeo & Juliet wrote the play based on two rebellious teens falling in love. The play was set in the 1500s, in Italy where the both of them lived,and were in two totally different families that didn't really like each other. The two start to fall in love even though their love was destined to end in tragedy. In this play, Shakespeare uses irony to show how young teens unnecessarily lose their life over love.
Romeo and Juliet were full of dramatic irony,for an example when the friar went out of the place where they were the audience knew that Juliet was going to kill herself but he didn't. During the movie there was also examples of situational irony.when Romeo
