“Trans- media” is a term appear recently. Its first present in 1991 by Dr. Marsha Kinder. It was wildly spread by Dr. Henry Jenkins while his book Convergence Culture Being published. From his blog, his definition of ‘trans- media story telling’ means a story build up by different piece of bits create by different media. They all contribute to the same story but they are all unique and not overlap. He did not have a tough position but ‘Transmedia refers to a set of choices made about the best approach to tell a particular story to a particular audience in a particular context depending on the particular resources available to particular producers.’ As this is a very new term, people are still discussing about it.

In his point of view, transmedia is a resource which can attract people in the beginning and continues to explore. Sesame Street is used as an example in Malcolm Gladwell (2000) books, which children are being interested in the characters and they keep going back and explore more. I try to do the same in my project. My documentary is fast flowing and just provide simple information. They can learn and investigate more about Christian believes deeply through my blog on tumbler once they are interested in my video. They can engage with me by writing comment and re- blogging. (Pamela, R) ‘It is about inviting and engaging in shared and valued experience and that creates a genuine human bond.’ I used writing and cartoons at the beginning to bring audience back to the past and introduce Chinese Christianity history to them. I choose this method as I was attracted by a video I saw few year ago on YouTube. As this technique give me such a deep impression, I am sure it can impress someone else at my age group. In my blog, I post the material and method I used for the production of this footage, my audience can follow my instruction and produce their own little story just for fun. I give them hence which they can ask to tips and share their work with me. In my video, I also put the footage of interviewing some Chinese Christians around me. From the interview, we can see they are all come from different part of China, they have their own story and they have varies of reasons why they believes in God. Through these video, I hope to bring out the message ‘we don’t have to be perfect to become a Christian’, we are all on our way, searching and learning. One of them become a Christian because want to get marry in the church, one of them she treat God as an umbrella and one of them is still uncertain about Christianity.
