Purpose of evaluation
The purpose of this report is to critical evaluating the project as a whole whilst making the use of client feedback. This report will be looking at the following, the functional requirement, and effectiveness of the spreadsheet my own performance as project manager and I will also look at my strengths and weakness and other area which I could improve. I will also talk about what skills I have learnt and how I went about the project, what problems arose during the project and how I dealt with these problems.
How does it meet the functional requirements
The spreadsheet I have created did meet most if not all the requirement which I have listed above. I personally think the website I have created was of a good quality. The text boxes are clear and plainly visible. All the macros work because I have tested them and the macros which did not work have now been amended to make sure they work. The prices of the products can be altered if need be because my client may ask for money the halls in the future. The spreadsheet does calculate the cost of all the products such as halls, henna, stages, cakes and menus to give you subtotals and a final total. The spreadsheet does allow my client to create a pivot chart from the saved customer data. The spreadsheet has protection on certain worksheet such as homepage, service, hiring, quotes worksheet and save customer data because my client doesn’t want these worksheets to be altered by anyone. The spreadsheet has other protection which is a login form which keeps the spreadsheet safe from anybody accessing the spreadsheet. ...eated the folder structure before taking on the project. The time management skill could have been improved by making a gannt chart which I could have followed to keep myself on track with the unit.
Differently in the future
In the future I would manage my time better I stay on course with my work and do not miss any deadlines. I will be much more organised with my work by making folder structure before starting the project. My spreadsheet would need to be developed in the future by adding more worksheet such as payment page. In the future my client could make a worksheet which has picture of the products such as cakes, stages and halls. The spreadsheet could have a calendar in which my client can see if the halls are available for the day the customer wants to book it. These extra features can be implemented in the future to make the spreadsheet more efficient.
