The 2nd amendment was written in 18th century when there was no police protection and safe environment. It was written to protect American people from the British. Today in the 21st century people don't need to own guns because America provides its residents a safe and protective environment. In America thousands of people are dying each year, a lot of high school students, teenagers,are becoming criminals because they own a gun and they can do any illegal crime that they want. People should stop the selling of guns, so teenagers will have a better future and also this action can save thousands of lives. In regular, little fights people killed each other. Only to blame for everything is gun control. Barack Obama wanted to pass a law to not own a gun but some states didn't vote and that bill never passed. Only way to protect American citizens and provide them with safe environment is to pass a law that will say that nobody should own a gun. There are masses of murders in the United States and hundreds of people are losing their lives each year including kids, teenagers, old people. Crime rate is increasing because most of the teenagers think that they can get everything by using guns for bad purposes they mostly like to steal banks and get money. And most of the times they take people's lives and these kinds of their actions hurt their parents and they forget that in the end that they will be one day die or go to jail. Their future is destroyed. The gun control is a hot topic in politics. Politicians use gun control in their debates to get votes from the states. None of the presidents have actually done anything to help the issue of gun control. Even though they try to take action against or for gun control some states vote for it and some do not. There are two types of parties in the United States the Democratic and the Republicans, that's why most of the things left undone both of these parties have different thoughts.
