The loss of many employment opportunities in the inner cities increased the incentive to sell drugs to make a living out of it. This of course led to many arrests leading the family leader to end up in jail and its poverty to continue getting worse because the only entrance of money has been taken by law enforcement. “If there were more opportunities to make a living, there would have been less drugs, stealing, and violence”(Falk). Providing the poverty areas with better opportunities to succeed and have a better future would have been the end of violence but it isn’t because the only way to survive in this area is by doing what the law considers wrong and most of these people are risking their opportunities in live just to give basic family necessities to their family. Poverty is a big step in the criminal system because with no money one is technically no one and have to obey whatever is said because one cannot afford a lawyer and what for if the justice system won’t rule on one’s side. Law enforcements take advantages of these areas because they like to assault someone based on one’s race and will do anything just to get someone on the road to jail. Poverty can end if these areas would be given greater opportunities just the way the whites are but in this world ones luck depends on their
