Jesse Woodson James: Thief, Gang leader, Folk hero
Folk hero, thief, gang leader, and so called “murderer”. Jesse Woodson James fits the description. Jesse in my own eyes is an inspiration. Not because he was a thief or gang leader, but because he had ambition and fought for what he believed. “It taught me to be independant and never wait for someone to hand you something” (brainyquote.com). These are some inspiring words spoken by Jesse. The quote basically means to never wait for someone to give you something. To go and get it yourself. It also means to be independant and not to rely on others for support. Many misjudge Jesse for being a bad person but nobody is a perfect angel. He didn't do good things but he had a reason, he didn't just steal from random, innocent people. He stole from the person who ran the train company to save his community. ...him to be a murderer, when in reality he killed only one innocent man unlike everyone thinks of him as trigger happy and reckless. Jesse is more of an inspiration than anything. He fought for what he believed in. He went to some pretty far extremes to do it but he was saving what he loved and the people he loved. Isn't that human nature? To save and preserve what we love and cherish?
