In Courage and Leadership: an introduction, my two weakest atrruibutes towards it are decision making and initiative. Decision making is something I have always found difficult in my personal life and professional life, it probably has to do with how I was raised because I wasn't allowed to make many descision for myself and it always used in a passive agressive manner towards me. Simply put, I havent yet developed those skills and have low self confidence in myself because of my background, which makes this skill one I need to learn and work on. However there is a link between control and axiety when it comes to leadership, since leadership is about being in control of difficult situations and there is axiety in things that are out of control. It all leads back to each other, and good leader needs to withstand the fear and axiety that comes with the job.

The common theme in both is the idea that no one can just become a leader, its a role that must be worked up too. No one is going to trust someone they don't know well untill its been proven and trust is something that is nessarcy for a leader to have. It also helps to make a good team overall if everyone has conficence in each other. The better follower you are, the more you can learn from the leader in charge then when you become the leader you've seen what works and what doesn't work.
