Background Information
Apex Hotels is a private limited company involving eight hotels, all of which are four stars. The hotels are based in the United Kingdom; four in Edinburgh, three in London and one in Dundee.
The chairperson of Apex Hotels, Norman Springford who opened his first hotel in 1996 in Edinburgh, naming it ‘The Apex International Hotel’. Over time, he and his managers have expanded the company to different cities, Apex Temple Court Hotel at Serjeant's Inn on Fleet Street, was opened on March of 2012 is Apex’s most recent venture and is still in development but is running as a business.
Apex aims to provide a very high standard of hotels with a wide range of package types. Apex Hotels do many discounts and special offers which vary from business meetings to training days, Apex also holds events such as Weddings and Christmas/New Year meals and stays. Due to this high standard of hotel service as well as the four star status, Apex Hotels is expensive to stay, but it does offer a variety of stay types for different types of guests(business, families, solo, couple). Apex’s hotel in Dundee includes a spa alongside its hotel, this is also the case with its bar.
A great advertising policy set up by Apex allows external websites to post hyperlinks directing their traffic to Apex Hotels main website. This advertising strategy means that the website directing links to Apex can make a small amount of money for more traffic going towards Apex.
Research Methods

...keep a watchful eye on the reviews that’s given to them by the guests that’s stayed in one of their hotels. The reviews pick up on faults with the hotels along with some that are good. By making these changes, more people would come back to their hotels because they see that Apex has made an effort to correct the problems. If the changes were made, people would review the hotels and then more people would want to book with Apex. Apex already have thousands of reviews and over time, the reviews are getting better and better reviews which shows that Apex are looking at them.
I would recommend Apex from what I’ve read and information I’ve gained. They are constantly providing a high standard and that reflects in the guests’ reviews and opinions. Even though the price may seem high, it’s priced competitively and one of the cheapest hotels in the four-star market today.
