More time passed, gusts of wind blew every now and then. There seemed to be no sign of bird coming. However, he didn’t want to move—his muscles still hurting. If he can’t be the bird’s food, he’ll be a tree then. The soft ground already absorbed his toes. Soon, it will slowly devour his feet then his body then his head. The soil beneath sending nutrients, would nourish him then turn his feet into roots, his body into a trunk, his arm and fingers into branches, and his head would turn into the main branch. It was the same girl he saw in the video. Her fine features on her face made her seem like a goddess protecting him from the aggressive bird. Her high-bridged nose, thin rosy lips, and blue eyes suited her perfectly. She still wore her white dress and a pair of sandals. Eizosen expected to meet her hugging Muod.
