Most people just know that ancient Egypt and Maya both had majestic and expressly structured pyramids by the ancient people long ago. However, not many of them know that different uses of the pyramids. The early Egyptian Civilization that stretched from the Nile River Valley to the east of Africa from 3100 to 2680 B.C. It is determined by the historians as one of the earliest, longest lasting and the most influential civilizations in the history world. Even though there are various differences between these two civilizations, there are still a number of similarities. The ancient Egyptians and Mayans had very similar religious beliefs. They both believed in Polytheistic with rulers that represented god on earth. The Mayans believed that virtually all things in the world had spirits among them. Differently, the Egyptians had a deep belief in afterlife. They believed that their lives were controlled by their deities.

Speak of the pyramids, each society has its own culture. Building great pyramids and temples, both civilizations built them for special uses and for special people. However, the two civilizations used these buildings for different uses.
