Most people when they take Rohypnol will suffer from a form of amnesia that prohibits memory formation for as long as they have the drug in the body. Too much of rohypnol can lead to overdose. The chances of overdosing increases substantially when rohypnol is mixed with alcohol and or other drugs. Using rohypnol can affect your self control. If cigarette is legal despite of all the damage it can bring to smokers because of the nicotine it contain, marijuana should be legalized because it is less dangerous than cigarette. Some positives are relaxation for those with medical problems relaxing. Other positive effects include killing cancer cells, helps with tourette’s, seizures, migraines, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, alzheimer’s, and many more diseases and illnesses. There is research being done on marijuana and its help on people with sickle cell. While studies agree that cannabis does not cure sickle cell, but it does reduce the pain of those suffering with the disease. Patients using medical cannabis experience better pain relief with lower doses of marijuana than major narcotics.
However, marijuana is one of the most misunderstood drugs on the market. Keeping it illegal just causes more problems. Fully legalizing marijuana, while making sure it is controlled with limitations much like alcohol and tobacco, would boost our economy, bring in more jobs, and medically help many people. Medicinal edible marijuana is legal now so I think that people will try to abuse marijuana even more. I hear some people say that it helps to relieve stress just like it says in the article, the high from marijuana give people a sense of relaxation. Many people are dependent on the drug though. I’ve learned that marijuana can be deadly in high doses even though most people believe it is harmless. I did not know that smoking when pregnant could cause such negative effects on offspring.

What these critics do not explain, is the reason other more harmful drugs like tobacco and alcohol have been legalized despite their destructive nature. Realistically, the reason many people continue using marijuana is because of its advantages to the human body, these advantages are so many. Marijuana helps the body in many ways; these are tested and proven medicinal purposes. Many medical experts have carried extensive tests to determine the effects that marijuana has on human beings. In most cases, the results have been positive; positive in that they support the use of marijuana; this is because they find out that the drug has more advantages than disadvantages to the human body.
It can cause sicknesses such as pneumonia and it may cause mental problems. People can get addicted to it just like people can get addicted to other harmful drugs and food. It is a gateway drug, which can lead to other harmful and even more dangerous drugs. Being an addict is not a healthy lifestyle, especially if one is addicted to marijuana. People like to blame their actions on being high on marijuana, yet studies show that there is no proof that it can or will cause them to have negative actions while they are high.
