I am writing this letter to make a complaint about the students of Edison Job Corps and how their action are affecting the student body. The choices some of the students make it affect all the other student we all got to pay the consequences just because of one person and it just not fair. For example, during lunch some students will have lunch and just don’t how to clean after themselves and everyone has to pay for the simplest mistake. Students will purposely leave their cups and plates on the cafeteria table so when these student do this it just make the entire student have to eat bag lunches. Also, students bring the cups outside of the caf. Then, they break them or just throw them away. We all suffer when they take money out of our pay
At times, I noticed that the mayor would have probably been more attentive hearing from irate citizens than listen to Armenta trying to get clarifications to C-5. Unexciting as the council meeting agenda items might have been, it was still fascinating to see local government at work in such an orderly, proper fashion. We may disagree on particular ordinances or agenda items, but we will do so in an appropriate way that does not disrupt the city at large, and even though the topics of discussion were mostly mundane, students should still at one point or another witness their local governments at work. Doing so leads to a greater understanding for how day-to-day city improvements take affect and how important it can be to voice your opinion and be a leader within your community.
One of the issues that were brought up was an upset parent who mentioned that his child suffers from narcolepsy. He was addressing that he wants the school board to help him because he feels as if the principal is penalizing his daughter. He mentioned that the principal mentioned that he will penalize the girl because of her lateness. He also mentioned that the principal refused to acknowledge his daughter’s sickness and how the principal bullied him. Following this one of the members from the board address this issue by mentioning that this issue that the parent has addressed is a personal issue that really should not be mentioned in this meeting. The school board member also mentioned that this should not be acceptable from a principal to be uninvolved. And how no child should be treated like this. He would also mention that this issue will be
It is a tremendous honor to be considered for membership in the most prestigious Honor Society available at Wapato High School. It is even more grand to be able to work towards enrollment in the Society side by side with such an astoundingly gifted group of young men and women. I am only being considered for potential membership in the National Honors Society because I have demonstrated an exemplary academic attitude, and have proven this through the grades I have attained during the years I have spent in the Wapato School District and the fondness amongst my teachers I have achieved. There are also other characteristics besides good scholarship I must fill for membership in the Society, those being services I have done to benefit others in the community, leadership positions I have held, and an original and interesting demonstration of
Jenny, who was a recent MPA degree graduate, had gotten her dream job at a local county government agency. During her first year of employment, she noticed that funds from grants were being mismanaged and misallocated, and some of her coworkers were also abusing their employment privileges by using county-owned materials, vehicles, for personal uses, which is a violation.
The entirety of the protester’s demands were as follows. The immediate resignation of the elected president and replacement of a deaf president. The immediate resignation of Jane Bassett Spilman, chair of the Board of Trustees, who apparently used offensive ableist language. 51% of the Board of Trustees must be deaf, giving them the majority. No punishments for the students or faculty members involved in the protest.
The blacksmithing class came to mind as I was working on a new report with my colleague Tariq Habash about the fine-print contracts used by various colleges and trade schools. We found that for-profit colleges are routinely slipping clauses into enrollment contracts that take away students’ rights to take grievances to court, or preventing them from allying with other students or even to discuss their situations publicly. Our report found that these efforts to deny students’ their legal rights is almost unheard of at

If you want an electrician who is good and dependable, not to mention charge a competitive price, you will need to spend some time doing your research. So how exactly do you pick the right electrician? Below are some things you can keep in mind when you are looking for a good electrician.
Internships provide students with opportunities to apply theoretical and basic knowledge gained in the classroom. During the field placement period, the agency supervisor becomes the primary teacher, aside from the clients, in the student's day-to-day learning. Imagine turning into someone unrecognizable and watching as your life rips apart, a life that you worked so hard for, because all hope is lost. You have hit the bottom of “the well of life”, and deep inside this “well of life” you understand it’s all because of students.
In the economic field, politics can sometimes damage an economic system, by creating monopoly between companies. Some small corporations might hence losing themselves when there is a competition between a large corporation. As a student, we might also lose our rights and opportunities when having an unfair competition with elite students. So in order to level up our authority and power, we have to seize every opportunity, and do the best we can. There is a saying that “In society they say everyone is equal, but in every corner there is inequality”. No nation in the world has yet achieved full equality for everyone, so when we face unequal treatments or inequality, we

Where these organizations fail to protect the youth that they employ, the federal (and State) government, by way of passing labor laws and through the administration of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), attempts to ensure that teens are fairly educated and represented if such a hostile work environment occurs. It is through the EEOC’s guardianship that the government has recognized as well as acknowledged a need to protect teenagers from harassment in the workplace and have more recently been active in taking action against organizations that fail to do so. Despite these efforts, an increasing number of...
