A Tale of Two Cities is a book written by Charles Darnay, and was first published in 1859. It tells the story of the French Revolution, from the perspective of the oppressed and the oppressors. As a result both sides being represented, duality is shown constantly. Duality is shown in the French Revolution itself. At the time, France was in a state of despair. The royals were completely oblivious to their people, who were starving in the streets. Tired of the royalties ignorance and desperate for a change, a revolution is organized among the french peasants. The plan is formed, and the revolution begins. The revolutionaries are bloodthirsty, and have no mercy. They will not compromise the revolution for anybody. The streets of France are flooded
