Being a dog owner myself I think a funding for a dog park would be money well spent. Being that 68% city residents live in a appartment building with little no know yard space for pets to play really need a park to go to. There has been over 2 million pet dogs that have ended up at animal shelters. Researchers reported that 65% of the people who left there dogs at shelters was because of bad behavior which is sickening. Dogs that are being poorly exercised and sosialized are one of the main causes of this problem. People try to fix it by breaking the law and letting there pet run free in vacant lots but with the risk of being reported or of the dog getting hit by a car.
