Divorce (or the dissolution of marriage) is the termination of a marital union, the canceling and/or reorganizing of the legal duties and responsibilities of marriage, thus dissolving the bonds of matrimony between a married couple under the rule of law of the particular country and/or state. (Wikipedia, 2010)
The main reasons that have been observed seen from divorced couples are lack of sacrifice, forced marriages, greed, Joint family system, difference in social status, lack of compatibility and understanding as well as male-female chauvinism. Divorce affects the couples, their children, their families and the society in general. Divorce is not liked in any religion but an option only if no other solution is left.
Divorce is typically a painful process for all concerned. As psychologists believe “While it can take adults time to regain psychological equilibrium, whether or not children ever recover a stable perspective continues to be debated. Post-divorce hostility between adults, in addition to directly harming kids, is a sure indicator that the emotional split is incomplete.”(Dealing with divorce, Psychology today)
In the past two decades divorce trend is rapidly growing. Though our sample population certainly believe that its not a good norm they certainly are helpless about the whole situation.Divorce as a taboo has enriched in our lives deeply and even with a strong culture, norms and traditions many cases are seen throughout.

...between the both parents. According to the primary research conducted, it has been proved to a great surprise that academic development is one area lacking in children. This is because mother who was responsible for teaching her kids social subjects is no longer there and father who helped the child with the science and mathematics is also absent.

Another simplistic assumption gathered by the secondary research was that children lack confidence for a long time. However, to our great surprise the survey conducted showed that only 8 percent people feel that children lack self-confidence. This might be the result of self-independent behavior of children from an early-age. This can also be the result of both working parents and children are taught to be independent. Self-achievement and social-adjustment are equally lacking hindrances according to what people believe.
