Recommended: The theme of fate in macbeth

For our Motif project we decided to portray the idea of civilization vs savagery in terms of fate, through art. In order to show the difference between civilization and savagery in the play, we drew two paths. One path shows Macbeth’s future if he followed his fate and didn't yearn for a loftier title. The second path expresses the path Macbeth unfortunately did follow.

The three witches at the top of the picture represent faith in the story. They are flying above the paths, zapping the dark and bad path, because they sabotaged Macbeth but don't agree with the choices he's made. Lady Macbeth plays a significant role in Macbeth's wrong decisions, she encourages him to spill innocent people's blood in order to achieve his fate faster than
