Ever since I was a little kid, my grandmother’s ring was the only piece of jewelry I ever genuinely wanted. The ring is just simply alluring with a diamond and a gold band. Not only is it beautiful it represented accomplishment, strength, and love. It has been passed down in her family for generations, it is originally her grandmother’s ring. This ring is my family’s own piece of history making it even more special. My grandmother has three other granddaughters she could have given it to. In the end I was the one she chose to receive its beauty and the honor to be the owner. She believed that I deserved the ring, because she saw a strength that I did not even see in myself. She is the best representation for what the ring stands for and when I look at it, all I can think about is her. Grandma is one of my biggest supporters, always having my back no matter what. She is my hero, I can spend countless hours with her, and when someone just says her name it makes me smile. When I am having a horrible day, I will call my grandma and her comforting words always make my day better. Hours we have spent together and she has taught me valuable lessons like how to cook, sew, and do the laundry. My grandmother is a huge role model in my life and one day I hope to be just like her. Raising three incredible kids, working forty hours a week, and volunteering whenever she has the chance are just some of her amazing qualities.
