A life can never be truly lived if we do not experience fear. Fear is something we all have. It’s an emotion that we had since we were young. We fear many things such as death, monsters, people, and possibly ourselves. The fear that I have is being forsaken and abandoned. This fear is something I dread the most. It’s like you’re forever stuck in an endless cycle of nothing and it’s just you. Fear is an essential feeling that all of us human beings have.Without fear, we can be blinded by false delusions of life. Without it, I feel like we’re not human. Even though it can still frighten us, it can help us understand ourselves by learning from our fears and face them head on. I believe that fear is needed to have a meaningful life because, in all honesty, it is what makes us human.

Whether you regret walking into that room, or telling someone how you truly felt, it is something that will always follow you. I feel this emotion is a way for people to realize their actions and learn to prevent the same mistakes from happening over again. Mistakes happen and that’s what helps us grow as people. In the past, I used to think that in order to escape all the pain and sorrow was to leave. I thought I would be better of for me if I just left without a word. Eventually, my true feelings came out and I had never regretted anything harder. I never came to believe it myself that I was wrong.
