The CVD Arena will be the destination in Los Angeles for live events – from amazing music acts to thrilling sporting events – it will set a new standard for what entertainment means in the city that does it best. The 20,000-seat CVD Arena will host exciting, world-class events with something for everyone – from UFC, boxing, hockey, basketball and bull riding to high-profile awards shows and top-name concerts.

By hosting a large sporting event the city can see an increase in recognition, tourism, and overall economic benefits.

• Long Term Investment o A significant benefit is the long-term investment which comes from preparing and hosting a major event. The city can improve its legacy of hosting major sporting event by hosting another successful event. This type of event will also encourage the city to renovate and repair things, to make the city more attractive, and to also reduce any hazards or risk.

• Jobs and Investment o The time it takes to plan this event will help create jobs for many people. From people planning the actual event, to workers of the event, and even more business for surrounding establishments.

• Enthusiasm o It is often easy to find reasons not to host a major sporting event, too much debt, more important priorities. But, a major sporting event can create enthusiasm and excitement for such an event. It can help promote uptake of sport which has lasting benefits for the nation’s health.
