In our modern, technological world, the standard of living has far surpassed anything our world has experienced in the past, and while the increase in this characteristic has led many countries to thrive in the 21th century, it has also created dramatic consequences for the world that have not been brought to light. One of the most prominent consequences of the transformation into the Modern Age is the presence of global warming, the rise in average temperatures throughout the year for the entire globe. Global warming is a scientific, political, and controversial topic. Some believe it is catastrophic, a slow moving killer hiding in the shadows. Others do not even think twice about it as they race by in a Hummer. Global warming is the gradual increase of temperature throughout different climates. It is caused by the greenhouse gas effect in which greenhouse gases, like methane and carbon dioxide, reflect sunlight back and forth. This reflected ultraviolet light bounces between the earth and the ozone layer and becomes trapped, resulting in a gradual rise of temperature. Who is the Historian?, a book written by Dr. Nigel A. Raab on how historians go about “doing history” is separated in the many aspects that make up the art of history. In Chapter two titled “The Sources We Use”, Dr. Raab goes into detail on what types of sources are used in historical research, and why they are used. Furthermore, the chapter discusses the historiography of when and how types of formats were discovered and utilized in the Context of applying it to historical research. There has been much discussion recently about global warming do you know what are the causes behind the global warming? The phrase Global Warming has specific meaning. "Global" means something above borders or international. "Warming" means an alarm that something bad will happen. The whole phrase means increase in the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere that causes changes in climate around the whole world, which refers to the meaning of global. For years, global warming was a scientific theory nobody cared about except scientists. Since the 1970s, the scientists discovered the fact that the temperature of the earth is increasing, and that the environment will encounter a real problem because of the humans activities on the earth. Even in the late 2000s, both of the government sector and the private sector were still ignoring the issue, due to considering their own benefits. These worries sat the governments and the scientists to it take in consideration more than ever. Both of them started collaborating to conduct the problem.
