I believe that criminal justice employees should have a thorough education so they can be critical thinkers to be the best at their jobs. Furthermore, proper training will help one to learn the correct way to go about certain things. I emphasize the importance of hard work, honesty, and positivity as the qualities in my every day work habits. I believe these qualities to help make a good worker in this field because it is hard to always stick to qualities that will help you and not hurt you. In this field you always have to look at the good and not the bad. I strive to be a hard worker as a quality of my work ethic. Hard workers are described as someone who gives it their all and tries their hardest at anything they try to do. This is an extremely important quality for those in the criminal justice field to have. Work in this field can always be changing, one day you may have nothing and the next day your nonstop busy. You always want to make sure you stay on top of your game. When I am hardworking people notice that I am trying my best, so they take that into consideration. Training is important because it helps you learn and know what you need to do. If you are not honest with yourself during your training you may not make it in this field. I was honest throughout all my training. If I had questions I made sure to ask. I never over estimated myself in my work habits. I made sure that I was always being honest to myself and others who I work with. If I needed something or they did I made sure to help them the best I could or tell them that I could not.
