Today I, as a freshman, witnessed probably the biggest plot twist of all time at Mount Juliet High School. Everyone was running to the gym for the year’s final pep rally, which we all call “moving on up”. Everyone wanted to be at the front of their class for this pep rally. With all this excitement running up to the pep rally, it was fairly easy for this fight to take place. There is a kid in our school who we all call ‘08, that is the year he was supposed to graduate in, ‘08 just continues to fail year after year though. Everyone says that along with each year he doesn’t only not get any smarter, but he gets more mysterious each year as well. The whole graduating class of ‘08 says he was the most outgoing person of their class. So no one …show more content…
He jumped on Christian’s back and he yelled, “You might want to cooperate with me, I’m an undercover cop!” That is when everything all fell into place for me and the rest of Mount Juliet. No one had seen this coming. Christian yelled back, “You ain’t no cop, get the hell off of me!” ‘08 was a cop though, he was Officer Chandler Bates. Officer Bates put Christian in handcuffs for assault on a minor, because Christian was 18 and a junior while the CDC kids were all under the age of 18. Christian’s bag was also searched, where Officer Bates found LSD, pot, cocaine, and molly along with stack after stack of …show more content…
At our pep rally we all just kind of stood in shock for a while, then the fun started. We all “moved up”, the freshmen walked over to the sophomore spot, the sophomores to the junior spot, the juniors to the senior spot, and the seniors just all walked out. It was a very eventful day and it probably could not have gone better. The biggest plot twist of all time happened, as well as the biggest drug addict and rudest person of Mount Juliet got arrested with two
My middle school’s dean smiles while handing me my certificate. I gave her my best fake smile and stood in line with the rest of my classmates who made the honor roll. I put my medal around my neck, held my certificate in my left hand, and put my right arm behind my back. I can’t believe I left my jacket in my mom’s car.
"What girl at Lansing High would not want to be in her place right now? Millicent thought, amused. What girl would not want to be one of the elect, no matter if it did mean five days of initiation before and after school, ending in the climax of Rat Court on Friday night when they made the new girls members." East Side High School was labeled a “cauldron of violence.” After they were designated this harsh term, Joe Clark becomes the head principal and changes it all around – or does he? Lean on Me is a story of hope, development, love, hate, and dependence. As a father figure and friend, Clark’s strict disciplining and harsh attitude helps heal, strengthen, and bring to life a struggling high school in New Jersey. But is this plot just a story for the movie screen? Did the true story really happen like this and end like this? Lean on Me might be moving and powerful, but we must look deeper into the real personality of Joe Clark and how he treated others.
make the reader sense that there is going to be s fight of some sort

A wise man once said, “An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.” This quote means that if you try to get revenge for actions that happened to you, than that will just cause greater conflicts. The wise man that said this quote was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. This is similar to Romeo and Juliet in the face that the families feud only lead to violence. This violence killed many people and pulled the families farther apart. Ultimately, violence does not solve problems because it only leads to a greater amount of difficulties.
Of all the things that occur in Romeo and Juliet, the death of Tybalt is one of the most climatic parts of the story. Yet, this all started from another killing of a different person, Mercutio. Mercutio, a relative of the Prince and friend of Romeo, and Tybalt, nephew to Lady Capulet and Mercutio’s arch enemy, were in a heated conversion when Romeo walked in after getting married to Juliet and saw what was going on. Tybalt and Mercutio began to fight and Romeo tried to come in between them to stop the whole thing. Unfortunately, as Tybalt was under Romeo’s arms, he stabbed Mercutio and he died soon after. In all the rage, Romeo was furious that his friend was dead and starts to fight with Tybalt. Eventually, Romeo slays Tybalt and he falls to the floor and dies. Romeo runs away in agony before the Prince soon arrives at the scene of the fight with all the other citizens that were awakened by this fray to see what happened. Although Romeo is guilty of homicide, he is charged for manslaughter as he unlawfully killed a person in the heat of passion while defending Mercutio’s honor.

It was a warm April day and all of the students were let out of school for the day. I went home to finish packing with the help of my parents making sure that I had everything and I wasn 't forgetting. I was excited for a week now to go on the trip to Washington D.C. with the whole 8th grade class for a week.

Violence and Conflict in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare ‘Romeo and Juliet’ is a tragedy about “a pair of star cross’d lovers”, blinded by their love for one another; it is a classic story of forbidden love, with scenes of high drama, killing and a tragic ending. The play both opens and ends with violent scenes, caused by the on going ‘grudge’ between the two families. The feud between the Montagues and the Capulets reigns supreme, and rules seemingly over love, over justice, in an almost unfair manner, as ‘civil blood makes civil hands unclean’. The image of violence being so unfair exists prominently in the deaths of the central characters of the cast. The young and pure lives of ‘Romeo’ and ‘Juliet’ is brought to a despicable end through the violence around them, which eventually brings about reconciliation between the families.
It only takes one bad experience to change your opinion on something. Imagine if you went through this same bad experience for months, or better yet years. Your whole personality, how you view yourself, and others changes drastically. This is what it feels like to be bullied. Bullying is a serious issue in America, especially among children and young adults. From kindergarten all the way up until my sophomore year of high school, I was a victim of bullying. Being bullied changed how I viewed myself and others, what my values and morals were, and it shaped me into the person I am today.
...aged to take part in. For once, a jock was nice to the nerd. It was fantastic. He may never tell his friends what he did and he may never say hello to me during class but at least he was respectful. We still were not really friends but at least I knew that he cared enough to say sorry.
My most memorable day in the middle school has to be probably my last day. During a track meet last year I tore my meniscus and was on crutches for more then a month. When I had two working knees the walk that felt like a two minute walk soon turned into what seemed like miles of sidewalk. It took me more then 10 minutes to get to the middle school and I was to much for the first week. I didn 't show up for three classes. Mrs. Kelly knew why though email but to this day I still don 't know if she told the students what happened. When I finally got used to my crutches I was able to walk over the what seemed like huge campus lot and up the elevator. When I hobbled into the classroom the look of happiness and worry that covered each of the students face and the simple " Sam, what did you do?" exclaimed from a student I will call Joseph. It was that simple remark that showed I did matter to the students. Their first thought when I joined the class might have been that I was going to be easy to fool I see that by the end of the year it changed to a friendship like no
