Cracker Barrel is an Old Country Store that primarily serves southern home style food just as grandma would make it. Cracker Barrel is known for its great food and old time gift shop. Tabitha D on TripAdvisor describes the restaurant perfectly saying, "The food here is old country style breakfast and dinner. It's just like grandma makes it. There is also an eclectic gift shop with antique toys, accessories, and stationary." Many people think of Cracker Barrel as a restaurant to stop at on trips because they know it will be good. Taking this into consideration, restaurant-goers hold Cracker Barrel to high standards of cleanliness, service, taste, and atmosphere in which Cracker Barrel is very strong. The food should be exactly as the patron ordered. It should not be over or under cooked. Restaurants should strive to use the freshest and most tender meat. The chicken should be grilled to perfection with Cracker Barrel's signature southern flavor. The macaroni should be creamy and cheesy and it clumpy. The fries should be fresh out the frier and not old. All the food should be served as it is done being cooked. It should not sit out and get cold. In reality, Cracker Barrel delivered in all of these aspects. The chicken was fresh and tasted great. It is grilled perfectly and easy to cut. The macaroni is creamy and cheesy just as expected. The fries are fried just right. Once again Cracker Barrel passes another test. It does not disappoint in the taste or quality category as it being one of Cracker Barrel's strongest selling points.
