Terminology Section
This research is based on two topics that they will be discussed briefly and will be looked through it from all perspectives. It will be based on real life observation of human sleep and infant development by play, and both will be discussed and compared to the Martials learned in class. And the most accurate subjects that can be related to those observations and to apply this scrutinize on are sleep types and thinking and cognation.
First starting with the sleeping types, there are a lot of different sleeping types and stages, but in this research it will be focused more on the REM vs NREM sleep, and based on the observation it will show what type of sleep could be related to the observation, and knowing the cause of it. As it is know that REM sleep is more shown as deep and last stage of the sleep and where dreams could occur, REM sleep is more defined as “REM sleep is paradoxical sleep (high level of brain activity).If wakened during REM sleep, almost always report a dream” (Sleep and consciousness, 2013) so this type of sleep comes after stage 4, which is the deepest stage of sleep. Usually it takes the person around 50min or so to reach the REM stage, and it will accrue again after 90min from the sleep cycle.
However, the NREM sleep is the stages that come before the REM sleep, not always people reach to the NREM sleep. It a light sleep that could in some way make person feel that they didn’t sleep at all. NREM have stages from 1 to 4 and each step get more deeper in sleep, for example; stage one, is when the person try to sleep and closing his/her eyes, it takes about 10 minutes for that stage to move on the second stage. ...e she explained that she has placed the mother with her child. So from the activity I got that they child think everything big is a mother and anything small is a baby to her.
She is really smart girl in her own way and it could be due to the environment she is exposed to, and that is surrounding her. Looking at her background she seems a happy child who is really attached to her family and loves them. She is caring and more to adult world since she is the smallest in the house and the different between her and her siblings are huge more than 13 years. Everything she does looks a little mature from her.
