Most of my time is spent in the central receiving lab, either receiving various types of specimens or assisting other people with their work. Most decisions that are made on a daily basis are centered around whether or not certain specimens are acceptable for processing based on policies, or determining whether or not doctors or nurses taking care of a certain patient in questions needs to be contacted to address an issue. Feeling comfortable making calls and being knowledgeable enough to thoroughly inform care takers of patients is something that I have not felt comfortable doing up until the mid to latter half of my time on coop.

Sir, I am honored by the privilege to once again serve in 4th Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT). Over of the last 30 days, I had an opportunity to reconnect, and reflect on the current state of the Brigade. The 4th ABCT has a rich history of success and glory. This reflective essay will lay emphasis on one of the learning needs I have developed during my two week taster placement in hospital. When reflecting on the past semester of English 2328, there are several lessons I feel I have learned which have contributed to the development of my intellect. Throughout this semester, I have repeatedly encountered various lessons that I feel have the potential to advance academically, personally and professionally. It requires a great deal of strength, not only physically but emotionally as well. There is a great deal of physical work involved, such as lifting patients and equipment. You are on your feet most of of the day, and there is little patience for idle hands. Patients will often require much patience, and excellent people skills are a must.
