1. What character(s), issue(s), or idea(s) in this play script seemed relevant to your life or to the life of someone you know? Why?
The character Cookie seems very similar to one of my neighbors. My neighbor has a back injury, ironically just like Cookie. Their personalities are quite similar. Describe your overall response to the play script. What did you enjoy or dislike about the plot, characters, language, and dialogue, etc.? Why?
I honestly did not like how messy the conversations between the characters was written. It seemed every time the characters were talking made no sense. They were talking about irrelevant topics. Then, they were talking about one thing and, then a second later they were talking about something else. It was amusing though, how funny the characters acted. However, it was just hard to keep focus on what the characters were talking about. The plot aspect of the play was interesting. I enjoy reading mystery material. Throughout the play I was trying to find out what had happened to Charley and Myra. Overall, it was a good reading. The plot was interesting, the characters were amusing, and the ending was suspenseful. My only critic was that some of the conversations of the characters were irrelevant to the main plot of the play. Those irrelevant conversations was a big distractions on the main point of the play.
