The story of Romeo and Juliet happened in Verona, Italy where the families of Capulet and Montague have a dispute on each other. Romeo and Juliet started when an argument took place between Benvolio, a Montague and Tybalt, a Capulet after that both families are already involved even the Prince Escalus, the ruler of Verona. The Prince made a decree to prevent further conflict that whoever disturb the peace in Verona will face death.
While Romeo, a Montague grief over his one-sided love with a woman named Rosaline. Romeo along with Benvolio encounter a servant of Capulet with the list of invitees who will attend the masked party at the Capulet on that evening. Romeo saw Rosaline’s name on the list and decided to attend the party by wearing a mask so no one will recognize him as a Montague.

He wanted to know where Romeo was to challenge him for a fight as Romeo’s punishment for coming of the Capulet’s party. Suddenly, Romeo arrived on the commotion. Tybalt challenged him but Romeo withstand on fighting him, at some point Mercutio joined and pointed sword on him. Romeo stopped the two of them but Tybalt cut Mercurio and run away and return after findig out that Mercurio died. Getting range over the death of his friend, Romeo fought and killed Tybalt. When the Prince went on the scene, he exile Romeo in Verona.
Juliet’s nurse told her about what happened between Tybalt and Romeo. That night, Romeo sneaked on the room of Juliet and they consummate their marriage. During Romeo and Juliet's only night together, however, Lord Capulet decides that Juliet should marry a young man named Paris, who has been asking for her hand. Lord and Lady Capulet tell Juliet of their plan, but she refuses, infuriating her father. When both Lady Capulet and the Nurse refuse to intercede for the girl, she insists that they leave her
