While working at a mental health company, I worked in a crisis house. The crisis house was designed to help those with serious mental health issues get back to a point that they were stable enough to function properly in society. While working for this company it was assumed that we as employees would be have the backing of the employer when needed. It was also understood that our job was to help but not hinder the personal growth of our clients. It was also assumed a company like this would provide structure for our clients.
