The story “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley,” has many messages that many people need to know in their life. For example, When one person changes for the better, others are affected for the better is a message that everyone needs to know. Only greedy people will present at the end of a greedy life is something that selfish people need to understand. Lastly, Wealth makes people rich only if they share their wealth is a message that wealthy people need to know. First of all, when one person changes for the better, others are affected for the better means that if you change in a good way you will not be so hard to be around. Scrooge was Bitter and mean all year round, but when it came to Christmas he was a little more bitter because he hated the holiday. At the beginning of the story when scrooge’s nephew said merry Christmas, and all scrooge did was say Bah Humbug. If you’d rather be rich with money than rich with friends and family then you will grow old and alone. When you are rich with family then you will have a shoulder to cry on and someone to tell things that are important to you. When scrooge saw his future he was so scared that it could be true, that he promised to change his personality so that future would not be able to become true. At first scrooge was happy with his life and he had no problem being mean and greedy but then the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future. Showed him how bad his life is. By the end of the book scrooge was happy as can be because he had a family and he was charitable and he knew that not only he was helping people but that he was making his and other lives
