According to Toward a More Perfect Union, Popular Sovereignty, Rule of Law, and Tolerance were believed to be the most three important pillar of the US Constitution which was created by our Founding Father . Those pillars have been developed and changed throughout the history since their concept and powers were argued by many American. The reason of the argument was the power distribution between government and the states. First of all, Popular Sovereignty or Sovereignty of the people’s rule is a concept that the authority of a states and its government was created by people through their representative. Treaty of Paris was the first marked of Popular Sovereignty since it declared the independence of our colonies against Great Britain. The Treaty of Paris was signed on September 3, 1783 between the representative of King George III of Britain and representative of the United State of American. The concept of the Treaty of Paris indicated the end of the American Revolution War and officially announced that the United State is an independence nation. After that, our Constitution was written and the first three word of it was “We the People”. The Rule of Law indicated that the all people in the government are obligate under the law. The law needs to be clear and equal and protect fundamental right. Fair and efficient are two primary goals of Rule of Law. The most important thing is that every citizen is subject to the law include the one who make that laws. It is stand against autocracy, dictatorship, or oligarchy where the rulers are held above the law. However, if there is any decision about international level need the approval of United Nation before it can work
