Communication
The word "communication" has been derived from the Latin "communis," that means "common". Therefore, ‘to communicate’ means to make common or to share. Based on Oxford Dictionary, communication is the exchanging of information by speaking, writing, or using some other medium. In Cambridge Dictionary, communication is the act of communicating with people. In general, communication is an interaction process between the sender and the receiver. It is a two-way process which involves in the transferring of information from one person to another. It can be between two individuals or a group of people depending on the information, time and place. The message is can be given in a form of verbal like speaking or non-verbal. Examples of non-verbal form of information is written message, images or graphs, gestures, body language, facial expression and so on. An effective communication is when the receiver understands the message in the information that the sender is giving.

There are a number of elements in the process of communicating. Each of the elements is important in the communication process. The communication process starts with the sender and ends with the sender getting a feedback from the receiver. In the communication process, there two types of people involved which is the sender and the receiver. The sender encodes the message and the receiver decodes the information given. In the model, there are eight elements in Shannon’s model of communication and the elements are:-
1. Sender
The sender initiates the communication process. The process start when an idea comes in the mind of the sender.

The contents of the idea or message in which the sender wants to share with the

Communication is an ongoing process; we never stop sending and receiving messages. Effective communication allows participants to properly exchange ideas. Communication is the two way process of exchanging information. Communication can be done through oral, verbal and written communication. Information is transmitted as words, tone of voice, and gestures and postures. Information can be shared face to face or by telephone, fax, e-mail, text messaging, videoconferencing, electronic-portfolios, chat, memos, letters, reports, etc. The number and types of methods increase as information technology systems become ever more involving a great deal of worldly experience and knowledge.
Communication is an important aspect of processing and transferring information in our society. The important entities needed for a successful communication includes; a sender, receiver, message and feedback. First, the sender is a person or entity that is sending information to the receiver. After receiving the message, the receiver will attempt to decode the message and prepares a proper response (feedback). Communication is an essential part of our daily interactions; it can be seen used in businesses, for pleasure, sports, education and many more activities.
Communication is used to interact with other individuals. There are a variety of ways of how people can communicate with one another. I would say in this day in age, the two most popular forms of communication would be face to face and virtual interaction. Face to Face interaction is when we are in real life and communicating. Virtual interaction is through a computer-generated source helping people communicate virtually.

Communication is defined as “the act or process of using words, sounds, signs or behaviors to express or exchange information or to express your ideas, thoughts, and feelings to someone else.” From that description, communication can be characterized as anything that can be used to get a message or a piece of knowledge from one individual to another. Communication helps humans to function orderly and productively. Without communication, the evolution of religion, government, art, clothing and much more would not have been possible. This makes communication a major cause of the evolution of human society with the solitary purpose: to inform and provide new information to others. Communication allows us to understand and gain knowledge and understanding of information.

In the third element, it is also the sender part that he will transmit the message to the people that he wanted to tell to. This can be done by transmit the message through telling the receiver the message, write the message out to the receiver, or send the message through e-mail to the receiver. While for the most important is, the message sent by the sender must be clear and easy to be understand by others.
The term communication is freely used by everyone in modern society, including members of the general public, scholars and management practitioners. Communication is defined as the interaction, giving and taking of information,sending and receiving of messages through verbal and non verbal means.
