When looking at the communication styles, I immediately felt like my communication style was analytical. Overall, I think I can relate to a little of all four styles, but I felt really closely with analytical. I am a person that is really organized and it detail-oriented. Developing an action plan will let each style know what the other persons plan is and at the same time allow each of them to do their own thing without worrying about the other person. Along with both style are along with their own plan, they each both tend to work along their own schedule and at their own pace. By making a schedule, this will keep everyone on schedule and once again, one style won’t have to worry about the other style.

While the leader might think he/she has the best opinion, having a meeting with the group will require everyone to collaborate ideas. The meeting is pointless without going in with opinions, so before the meeting, developing strong ideas and points will help by being assertive. This will give a chance for not just the competitive person, but for all people with different types of conflict management styles to talk and participate.

Two of the main aspects in the professional workplace are communication and conflict. With the knowledge of both and knowing which style you are it will help you better yourself and others around you in the professional workplace. Communication and its styles go beyond conversing with colleagues, but having good communication will help you with networking and help reduce diversity barriers.
When it comes to conflict there are pros and cons to having conflict in the workplace. Conflicts helps with new ideas, and increased knowledge and skills.
