Evaluate and discuss what made the experience positive from their perspective. I had a chance to talk to a person in a clinical capacity who has and still utilizes the Common Factors Approach. According to this individual the positive experience about Common Factors Approach is any helping profession including any mental, doctors, nurses etc., have developed the health capacity to engage clients to change his/her circumstances of life. Examine critically what you have read about the Common Factors Approach. What Common Factors do you think the social worker/therapist/counselor engaged in that contributed to this positive experience? Some examples, of common Factors that social worker/therapist/counselor should engaged in that could contributes to positive experience are culture context and gender role, etc. culture is a term that is using to describe the values, beliefs, practices and ways in which a community or society lives. Gender role. Men and women usually accept the roles defined and perpetuated by their community which can have both advantages and disadvantages for them.
