What does Coming of Age mean? There comes a time is each person's life when they reach the point where they are no longer children, but adults. Coming of age is a transition from childhood, entering into adulthood, which specifies a variety of responsibilities, an immense level of maturity, and consequences one itself must face later. It involves many obstacles that need to be overcome in order to become an adult. This stage in life is one of the most important.
