To many, residence is the most convenient option for accommodation. However, to me, it is more than just that. Rather, it is a great blessing and privilege, for with residence, one gets to become part of an entirely different aspect of college. I have been very active with several societies and my academic performance showcases that I am a hard worker who is focused on pursuing excellence and distinction in whatever I decide to commit to. I am also a firm believer in the need for fulfilling commitments to the best of my abilities. Thus, I have been giving my best efforts in fulfilling my academic and extra-curricular commitments in this college and so, because of this, I believe that I deserve to be in residence.

I believe that by being in residence, I will be able to succeed better and continue further in all my activities. I also believe that by being in this college, I can be blessed and even contribute to the Christian character of the institution. In the time that I have been in residence, I have been able to attend and participate in student led bible study sessions and to be fellowship with other Christian students. In my first semester and the early part of the second, I was living off campus and thus, had many struggles because of my time spent in college. As mentioned, I have been very active with many societies and their events. I am particularly active with the Social Service League and the Campus Placement Cell which requires me to stay in college for extended periods of time when needed. When I was still living off campus, I would commute back to my PG alone in the late evenings and so, I have had a few incidents in which I truly felt unsafe and insecure. Moreover, the living environment is PGs is deplorable unless one is able to pay exorbitant amounts. The study environment at my PG was such that I would spend most of my time in the college
