Drug addiction and/or alcoholism should be taken seriously, regardless of the stages of addiction. Alcoholic or drug addicted people have the right to be provided high levels of care and counseling in order to assist with recovery while bringing them back into a normal, healthy and stable lifestyle. The idea is to conquer this sickness as soon as possible (i.e. once the addiction is detected in people). Addiction caused serious health hazards and can endanger the life of the addicts, their families, along with the highly cherished social relationships.

The addicts are given a mean to get recovered by spreading the message into them that they should seek the shelter of a merciful God who is persistently showing them the right path and He will help those who seek His help and mercy with due attention.
In relation to Christian drug rehab centers, the approach is to treat alcohol substance abuse and drug addicted people, by applying the Christian recovery ideology. In these centers, recovery programs are designed to provide a spot on spiritual experience. The philosophy behind that is to confirm the love of Jesus to his people and the mercy of loving God for those who strive to come back to follow the correct path.
