Topic: Discuss the character psychology of Charles Foster Kane as a case of narcissistic personality Charlie’s character, and one of the most insightful descriptions of the narcissistic personality you’ll ever find. From Kane’s Narcissistic personality disorder can be defined as excessive self-importance or vanity. He has a sense of entitlement and demonstrates grandiosity in his beliefs and behavior, and lack feelings of empathy. These characteristics are usually defenses against a deep feeling of inferiority and of being unloved, a terrible ego and traumatizing childhood. Can't imagine a child being taken away from their parents, and to their mind children don’t know how to coop, so they do the best that they can. He was taken away from his parents at an early age, and this is what happened to Kane. Throughout his childhood life, he lacked that parental love and comfort every child needs. In the movie Kane kept asking his mom to come with him, his mother abandoned Kane's and thrown him into a life of luxury without any concern.
