Established in 1890, Akron Children’s Hospital is one of the largest pediatric hospitals which provides many areas of medicine and surgery for ever body in Northeast Ohio, specialized for children. Among competitors, Akron is creating its knowledge and technology step by step to achieve its development and becomes one of the top children hospital of the country. There are more and more competitors such as Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic, Akron still maintains and develops its own quality and reputation by inventing many human’s achievement and also keeping a good relationship with both patients and their family, especially children. Although Akron Children’s Hospital is always in governmental top listing hospital, it still needs to change and act more to reply the expectation of patients and itself. This paper will analysis the issues of this hospital including evaluating the quality, identifying the management dilemma, finding the way to step out its competitors, offering effective solutions, and the advantages and disadvantages for this research.
