Recommended: Traumatic brain injury car accident case study

The thing that changed my life for a week was when I was in a car wreck. It happened on Tuesday 20, of December last year. We was going to my Nana's house in Blairsville to spend the night so we could take her to physical therapy because, she had knee surgery about a month ago. My mom my brother and I was the ones involved in the wreck. We had went to Mcdonalds to get a drink. We came back and got in the turning lane at the red light by the walmart there in Blairsville one car passed and we didn’t see another car coming so we turned and next thing we know we heard a big boom then we was spinning my mom put the car in park and we looked back at my brother and he was unconscious. My mom and I climbed out of the car but we couldn’t get my brother out luckily there was an off duty Cardiac arrest doctor and a Ems right behind us so they helped us until the paramedics got there. When the paramedics got there they got my brother out of the car and took us to the hospital in the ambulance. …show more content…

The reason was since he was knocked out they just wanted to take safety precautions. So my dad went to atlanta while my mom and I was at Union General. I can’t remember much about the hospital because, I had a concussion and I was out of my mind. I remember very few things. I remember that the hospital bed wasn’t comfortable at all. I remember being rolled out to the car and a lot of visitors were there. This all happened about one o’clock at night. I had cuts all over my face and a few on my arm. My mom just had some bruised ribs. My brother had a concussion some cuts and bruised ribs.I had to stay at my Nana's house so I would be close to a hospital.
