The capybara is the largest rodent in the world! Capybaras are herbivores. They vary in color. On average, a capybara is about 4 ft long and 2ft tall. Big cats, anacondas, and eagles are a few of their predators. Capybaras are large rodents who can be found in Central and South America, they have a pig like structure and eat a variety of plants. Capybaras can be found in Central and South America which includes countries such as Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Columbia. They are semiaquatic so they must live by water, this includes swamps, marshes, estuaries, wetlands, and near rivers and streams.
