Cancer has caused a great deal of grief in the United States. Scientists should put forth more effort into finding a resolving cure to this horrible disease. The way that cancer is affecting the population, that it is taking innocent lives away without reason. The types of cancer that are the main problem in our society are, Breast, Prostate, Lung and Brain, these cancers take the most lives. Cancer is an abnormal growth of cells which may spread throughout the body. One out of nine individuals are killed by cancer each day. The 1900’s the stakes were raised higher, it was one out of every forty that died each day. Cancer strikes middle age people and certain chemical and physical agents or factors that may trigger cancer. The proportions of cancer causes cases in the United Kingdom linked to the risk factors which are theoretically preventable by lifestyle. The goal of treatment is to cure the cancer, or increase survival in patients with a high disease rate, while preserving the greatest possible quality of life in both the long and short term. Many survivors, even among those who are cancer free, must cope with the long-term effects of treatment. Cancer symptoms are changes in the body caused by the presence of cancer. They are usually caused by the effect of a cancer on the part of the body where it is growing, although the disease can cause more general symptoms such as weight loss or tiredness. It is advisable that anyone experiencing unusual symptoms that are not normal for them for more than a few weeks should seek medical attention. There are more than 100 different types of cancer with a wide range of different signs and symptoms. Many cancers can be prevented by not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight, not drinkin... ... middle of paper ... ... curing cancer and more wasteful. The most helpful cure are known as the “Forbidden Cure” and is being hidden by the media and scientists because they do not want people to abuse the drug. If you take too much of the drug at one time it can cause lifetime of harm and can even kill you. Early research on the cause of cancer was issued by Sir Alexander Haddow in 1958. Haddow was born in West Lothian, Scotland, and qualified in medicine at Edinburgh University in 1929. In 1936 he joined the staff of the Research Institute of the Royal Cancer Hospital. He was one of the first scientists to ever research and try to find a way to kill the cancer cells in our body. Unfortunately he died at age 83 and did not fulfill his journey on doing away with one of Americas’ top killer.
