Recommended: Influence of censorship in school

Books are free like the birds with open wings, that will see light and dark. The one thing everyone should know is you can’t cage a free bird. In the school direct there has been a lot of books banned from examples of To Kill a Mockingbird to Where the Wild Things Are. Our schools should have the freedom to pick and choice want is read but shouldn’t the students get a say. With the long process of getting a book banned, why shouldn’t we make sure the students get a say. I have three reasons why The Call of The Wild shouldn’t be banned. Tho your opinion is different I would like to hear me out on this. My three logical reasons are that there is a good message,it’s great for school debates, and the journey the Buck goes on.

From all of the wonders of the world not one doesn’t have a message. The Call of The Wild has a message under the darkness of the book. Is book is about a dog, named Buck, this poor dog is part of the Alaskan frontier . Which is a historical event when the U.S. purchased Alaska. …show more content…

History isn’t in every book but the one’s that do have an extra worth. This book is american history and the book gets more reason for it not to be banned. Buck is in the alaskan frontier which is american history which we can’t erase we have to embrace it. My last reason is overcome the problem in the story. Buck does this by becoming leader of the pack and then dying. This is a hard thing for some people to get that happy ends don’t always come true. Critics say that the death, violence, and the gory, and to that I have to say it’s history and death and violence are in the package of life.

To recap the book The Call Of The Wild shouldn’t be banned. From the reasons of the message, it’s good for school, and the journey. I respect your opinion but, I wish you can hear me out on my reason. From the constitution showing that no story should be banned.
