Logan's Amazing Day at Breakers Water Park "Mom, Mom get your crocs and you towel! It is finally here! We are going to Breakers! Can you believe it!" I said in a loud crazy voice. Mom yelled back "Logan, we will not be going anywhere if you do not get settle down and go get your swimsuit on." While I was putting my swimsuit on, I was super excited to get to Breakers. All week I kept reminding my Mom about our AMAZING day with our friends coming up. When we got in Mom's car to leave, my anticipation was growing about all the fun and exciting things we were going to be doing. My heart was beating so fast and so hard I was wondering if it was going to jump out of my chest! As we drove to the waterpark, I was wondering if my friends Heather, Johnny and Isabella were going to be their waiting for us. I hoped …show more content…
The sounds of the splashing water and everyone loudly talking and yelling only added to the fun I was starting have. I enjoyed the splash pad, but I was ready for more fun. We all walked over to the wave pool, it was HUGE, I couldn't wait to walk into it and get on my tube. We were riding waves, spinning in circles and taking pictures. Mom bought a waterproof case for her phone, so we could take pictures to remember this fun filled day. The sun was warm, and the cool water felt refreshing. We all were splashing and throwing water at one another, it was such a blast! My friends and I decided it was time to make our way to the water slides. I felt scared, nervous and excited all at the same time. This was a new experience for me, I had never been on a water slide before. We had to walk up so many steps to get to the top. It was very high up, I am afraid of heights and just the walking up itself made me feel butterflies. My Mom and my friends were all encouraging me saying things like "You can do it Logan." "It will be a total blast." "You will feel so proud of
It was a bright sunny day and the lake looked like glass, perfect to go water skiing. My dad, brother, and I decided to go get the boat ready for our trip. We had to get the sunscreen, refreshments, and water skis. Once we all got in the boat, we had to untie the ropes that were tied to the boat and the dock and lead the boat out of the dock without it colliding into the dock..
Me, my Mom, Dad, Graycie, and Will (Graycie’s boyfriend) decided to take a little trip to the Guadalupe River! I was excited, because I’ve never floated through the river before. Although I wasn’t excited about being in the car with Will for several hours. He’s kind of a handful.
After we got tired of the pool me and my family started to head to the beach. So as we walked we noticed an amazing shell so we went and picked it up and there was a snail inside of it. It jumped out of its shell at my dad and scared us to death. After that we set it back free in the ocean, the we went and played around in the amazing water. My mom and my grand ma went to go and get lunch from the beach side café. They had the best food on the beach, we all ate our lunch and were stuffed
My palms were sweaty, I was a nervous wreck; should I go or not? Just the thought of people dying at Six Flags gives me the chills. Falling off a ride and slowly coming to your death. Even though I was at Six Flags who would have thought that I would have to make such a tough decision about a ride.
After we ate we went to go look at the rides they had we started at The Tony Hawk, The Tony Hawk was a roller coaster on a small track and while it was on the track it spun around! I tried to envision what it would be like to be on that ride since we didn’t ride it, it really did look like a fun ride though the next ride we went to go check out was the excalibur, that ride looked like an amazing fun time, it was kind of like a catapult ride, it launched upwards and came back around what made it even more interesting was that it spun around at the same time, I wish I would’ve been taller at the time by reason of I was to short to ride it although, I did get to watch my sisters summer and hanna be on it they had snot coming out of their noses when they got off, it was
One summer morning, I woke up excited. My friends and I were going to Hershey Park. I’ve been busy this summer, so this is the first time I was able to go. Hershey Park is a big amusement park with big roller coasters and a big water park. The Fahrenheit is my favorite ride there. I woke up, took a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast, and waited for them to pick me up at my house. While I sat on my couch, I had my bag with a towel and a bathing suit for the water park and I could put my phone there. I was ready to go.
"We are going to California!" Shouted my father. Me, my sister, and 2 of my brothers were all excited to go. We got all packed up and on our way. Then we realized how long it was going to take.
My dad and I were happy to go because we had nothing to do anyway. When the day finally came, we drove to Pet World. Back then, it was one of the coolest places I had ever seen. They had decorated the entire place with ribbons and balloons, lots of posters were put up on the walls. It was until I walked into the shop, that wave of noise hit me, there were people talking and laughing, announcers yelling names through megaphones, parrots squawking, and all the other animals making noise.
The water felt really good because it was really hot.
I was so excited. I could hardly breathe through the hour drive it took to get there. I was squished between my two ten-year-old best friends in the back seat of a white Saturn, but I didn't care. I was practicing over and over in my head what I was going to say to all the smart-alecky adults who would tell me I was too young to ride the water slides. I was simply going to reply, "Actually I'm ten, going on eleven."
It was sunny and 85 degrees. It was the life. I soon saw my grandparents and ran to them. We drove back to the resort, and went to our room. It was the biggest room I've ever stayed in. My Mom, Dad, Sister, and I stayed in a room, My cousins and Aunt and Uncle stayed in a room, and my grandparents stayed in a room.
I was excited! We were on vacation in Isle of Palms, South Carolina, and were ready to do some fishing. We arrived at the marina and were introduced to our captain for the day. I had never gone fishing in the ocean before. My dad, my sister, my two brothers and I were going on the four hour trip.
I tried to make the best of it and participated in tubing with my family, which that day consisted of two adults, two toddlers, a baby, and myself before I got very, very stuck under the water. I did learn something I may never have otherwise, though. A little disgust can go a
The water was super clear and I was used to feeling like I have been holding my breath for a long time because of the feeling on the diving board. I knew that I would come back to the surface eventually. I wasn’t going to give up even though I thought I was going to die!
All of a sudden in one blink my fun turned into a scare. It was the water and
