I never thought i'd reach such peace sitting on the hillside of an abandoned theme park. The depths i had gone through to reach this place would terrify anyone but it only thrilled me. This is it. The sun had just begun setting, the sky painted with colors no man could ever do the justice of recreating. Pinks, violets, oranges and yellows of all sorts filled the evening sky. The clouds moving at a slow, leisurely pace, without a care in the world. The alluring blues fading into a purple that would make any amethyst jealous. Radiant pinks streaked across the sky, racing against the violets to be the most vibrant. Dragonflies, bees, and butterflys fly by. Flying as if they rode a roller coaster, spiraling and twirling in the air, floating along the wind. The wind pushes through me and moves my hair, softly nipping my nose with its cold bite. A squirrel a little ways away peers through the branches, questioning what i am and why im here. Either that or he wants food. Probably the latter. As the sunset begins its descent into the horizon, i watch silently, not moving a muscle. When the cold becomes unbarrible, i took my feet underneath me for warmth, yet i stay. By now, the area has gone quiet and i wonder if ill make it down safely but push the thought away, i always make it down. When i was a kid, i lived in the most glorious places that never meant much to me till i grew older. I used to live directly next to a small forest, filled with trees and animals of all sorts. My favorite past time was challenging myself to climb higher and higher, wanting to be among the tree tops. I never was scared, i trusted myself. Now as remenisce of the good days, the same feeling of contempt and adrenaline flow through, my brain is a mess of happy chemicals. This was how i
