The Bermuda Triangle is an unsolved mystery that leaves many people oblivious as to how it has taken away the lives of many humans. It has been an all-time mystery why this happens. Not only have humans mysteriously disappeared but also many ships and aircrafts have disappeared. The most interesting incident was the disappearance and discovery of Flight 19. Jon hired a group of specialized divers and bought a ship and submarine. The submarine went to the last known location and dove 400 feet down the Atlantic Ocean. After one week of searching for the plane, a ship looking for wreckage from the spaceship Challenger, found a TBM avenger covered in barnacle and coral. The cruiser immediately called Jon and his crew to the scene. “The only problem Jon had was to lift the plane to identify it, but it was covered in coral which will be hard to lift” (Myre 210). The ship Jon bought had a 50 ton crane on board. The plan was to lift the plane 400 feet out of the ocean with the crane. After 4 hours of carefully carrying the plane, the coral on the plane severed the steel wire, sending the plane to the bottom of the ocean. The next day, Jon and his crew sent out to find the plane, and attempted to lift it up again. His mission was a success and the plane was identified as the captain’s plane. Flight 19 was not only Missing, but it was also found. Although they did not find any bodies, the mission was a success. Jon Myre has earned his fame in finding Flight 19 with hard work. This area has generated unproven tales that have served as “explanations” for these disappearances. The triangle is also known for its unique weather and other “unnatural” occurrences. However, each story or occurrence within the Bermuda Triangle can be explained.
What really happened over the summer in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico? People have debated this topic countless times. Despite all of the deviations of what happened, there is a general timeline. Sometime during the months of June and July 1947, an aircraft landed in Mac Brazel’s ranch; Brazel proceeded to tell Sheriff George Wilcox. He sent a member of the Roswell Army Air Field base to look at the wreckage on Brazel’s ranch. This person took some of the debris back to the base for further inspection. On July 8, 1947, the newspapers published stories about how someone found a flying saucer in New Mexico. However, the government told the newspapers to report that it was merely a weather balloon that had crashed. After that, everybody simply accepted the story and dropped the topic. Throughout that story, many pieces of evidence went untold to the media. There were numerous pictures that went unreleased. Many affidavits went unnoticed and nobody paid attention to inconsistencies in the government’s justifications. Because of explicative photographs, several eyewitness accounts, and contradictory government explanations, there is extensive proof that the government concealed an alien landing in Roswell, New Mexico.
The sky remained vacant the morning Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, were supposed to touch base on Howland Island, for the last leg of their trip around the world. Leo Bellarts, the Chief radioman on the coast guard ship, was desperately sending radio signals, trying to reach the lost pilot in the air. On July second, 1937, Earhart and her plane, went down in the Pacific Ocean, and have not been found since then. Seventy-seven years after her disappearance, people are still searching for answers about the mysterious event in the Pacific.
However, the pair never made it to Howland Island and July 2 was the last time Earhart and Noonan were seen alive. A few miles off the coast of the Howland Islands, they had lost radio contact with the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Itasca. Soon, the President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt, authorized a two-week search for the two. After a massive two week long search, they were declared lost at sea. It seems obvious to many people, that Earhart’s plane crashed in the Pacific, but there are also many others who have come up with other theories about what may have happened to Earhart and Noonan (“Amelia Earhart”).

“In total, six airplanes and 27 men appear to have vanished” (How). On December 5th of 1945, five U.S. Navy bombers went missing without a trace of why. Later a rescue plane was sent to search for the plane and the survivors, but those planes disappeared as well. That incident is one of the most famous and well known disappearances in the area (How). The Bermuda triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean which many people believe mysterious disappearances have taken place. Njau claims that the mysteries noted in the Bermuda region may be accounted by the Eastward-moving heat waves along the Earth’s surface as they cause changes in the weather and ocean patterns that could play a big role in the disappearances over the Bermuda Triangle. Njau provides the readers with another credible possibility that could be responsible for the disappearances and mysterious lost ships and planes in the Bermuda region in order to prove that paranormal phenomena may not be the cause behind these sudden disappearances. The research cited explains that the Eastward-moving heat waves along the Earth’s surface “to a large extent, account for the mysteries already noted in the Bermuda region” (Njau). In the academic journal, “Hydrates Represent Gas Source, Drilling Hazard”, senior researcher in geology and associate professor Elchin Bagirov and senior geophysicist Ian Lerche, purport that the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle can actually be explained by the phenomenon of hydrate crystals ruling out paranormal phenomenon. Bagirov and Lerche cite a variety of diagrams that they claim show the special properties of hydrate crystals and their effects to indicate their relationship with the mysterious disappearances of ships and aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle. The authors provide a scientific and rational explanation for the numerous mysteries of missing ships and aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle in order to persuade the readers that the mysteries surrounding the Bermuda Triangle can be explained by actual scientific
Flight 370 was an international passenger flight that went missing on March 8, 2014. The flight was scheduled in route to Beijing, but it went missing throughout the second day after the plane took off from Kuala National Airport. At approximately 1:21 p.m., the communications and transponder signal were functioning no longer. There were no emergency calls at the time the plane had its last checkpoint. On March 24 at approximately 10p.m.Malaysia Standard Time, officials ceased the search as radio signals picked up debris found throughout a remote Indian Ocean. It is believed that all of the 239 passengers on the plane died (Preimesberger). From protests and outcries, to mourning and fallouts, it is still a distraught event that shocked the world.

Preoccupation with a malfunction of the nose landing gear position indicating system distracted the crew's attention from the instruments and allowed the descent to go unnoticed.
In conclusion the bermuda triangle is an imaginary triangle with a deadly reputation. No explanation has been proven correct and the mystery is still to be solved. After countless events of paranomal activity being reported, it is difficult to believe that the triangle is a safe place with nothing peculiar about it, even though most researchers believe differently. The sense of mystery, publicized occurances of paranormal activity, and attention from scientists and researchers has continued to fuel interest on the matter.

The Bermuda Triangle, referred to by some as the Devil's Triangle, is in a western region of the North Atlantic Ocean where countless aircraft, ships and people have inexplicably disappeared. Where did these people and ships disappear off too and how come no remains were found is the mysterious question people yearn to find out.
