Between school and work and studying and spending time with family and friends, most of our youth have packed schedules. Many students have the burden of honors or advanced placement classes piling homework on their shoulders.The real challenges that a youth faces is certainly how will he/she will able to survive in this world,peer pressure, and acceptance. The biggest problem is that we believe that being young automatically means that we can’t do anything important. This feeling, that we are nameless and will remain nameless until we are older and can finally do “the big things”, contribute a certain anonymity which justifies practically our every action, or lack of action. We spend our whole entire lifetime trying to figure out how to survive life as we watch or love one struggle in their everyday life, thinking to ourselves that we don’t want to be in that position. It starts as early as middle school, where we start to tell ourselves that we don’t want to be part of that statistic in the amount of people who will make it out in life and as the years goes by we become the statistic of how many of us don't want to be part of the “unsuccessful survival kit to the future” statistics, ironic. lastly I believe that acceptance is the icing on the cake with all of our challenges. Even when we succeed at something we as young people, still doubt ourselves. we refuse to accept that life could be as easy for us as it is for the people that we admire. We are scared of the truth more than the lies. Overcoming these challenges takes courage and immediate action plans. We need to start acknowledging our values to our community and how much impact we are capable of having to the people who are watching us. Through those changes we can learn how to have faith in our self in all that we continue to do, and instead of basing our true value on what others say we must learn to have self love and acceptance and with that we will be comfortable to be a better citizen in society and take a leap of faith into the
