It is a cold misty morning at the seaside.

The aroma of fresh brewed coffee fills the

air, as I pour it in my flask.

Today is the day.... I think to myself.

As I grab my fishing gear and head down

to the sea.

This time you wouldn't get away!

The sun has been up for about ten

minutes now.

There is a soft breeze blowing.

The seagulls have started to stretch there

And the smell of salt fills the air as the

waves rushes ashore.

I can see the outline now, it's coming closer.

hake........

But it doesn't matter, they all taste the same.

I have not caught anything with it yet.....

It's new. A birthday present from dad.

As the rod begins to bends under the enormous

weight of the fish.

I must gather every once of strength left in these arms.

The fish is near the shoreline now, and my

hands tighten around the rod.

Suddenly, my whole life spins and takes a sharp turn... as the fishing line snaps!!!

The rod flies out of my hand as I fell backwards onto the wet beach sand.

I don't know what hurts the most my heart of my body. It's if even the ocean has gone quite with disappointment.

Looks like today wasn't the day after
